Volume 2 has been discontinued and has been replaced with a one-volume advanced course, designed for students with at least one year of experience with IEW.
While writing about topics from U.S. history, from the Explorers to Modern Times, students will develop more advanced writing skills such as thesis statements, MLA format, persuasive essays, research papers, and more. |

Year CDesigned to help students master the nine units taught in IEW's Structure and Style course, US History-Based Writing Lessons gives students an opportunity to work on their composition, grammar, and vocabulary skills while learning about American history. Units move chronologically through time and cover American history topics to 20th century.
